The Spawn ... It's beginning!
#1
The spawn for the LMBs is just about to start!

I was out to Utah Lake yesterday afternoon with the in-laws, wife & kids.

We were just fooling around and I decided to try for a little bit.

Whacked a nice female LMB full of eggs. She was about 3.5lbs and looked really healthy.

She was released immediately and that was all I needed for the day. Went out and sold a couple water softeners that evening and slept like a baby last night. Somehow, I think that my fishing helps me relax.

Anyways, the spawn is just about ready to start. Please, if you do catch any LMBs ... release them in the smae area and tight lines!

I have the same question. You don't have to give up your exact spot, just wondering about some patterns to look for when fishing for bass from the shore.

Bass go on the spawn on all lakes at the south end of the state this time of the year it will start with the full moon five days before and five days after then slow down till the dark of the moon five days before and five days after for about one and a half moon fazes...

This moves up our state for the bass until about the first of July then next year it starts all over at the same bat time and same bat place....
