Hey folks, just a few general questions for you. Is Scofield ice free yet and if not, how close is it? Has anyone been up there lately? If you've been there (to Scofield) or fished the Price River coming out of it, is the river iced over or is it running free and clear of ice now? I know last winter it iced up but with our temps getting a little warmer, I'd thought of running up there for a fishing visit. I'm mostly interested in the river... I figure if Scofield Res is even close, then the river must be fishable by now.

Just make sure you stick to the outlet. As you probably already know the inlets are closed until July.

Yeah, I knew that. Thanks for the heads up though. I fished the upper end of Fish Creek going into Scofield but only caught really small cuts and a bunch of bug bites. The lower end is where I always fish up there. I just read on the DWR site that the ice is thin and rotten up on Scofield so it won't be long before it comes off. The fishing should already be good in the river then since its moving water..... Hmmm well, guess I better start using up vacation.... [cool]
