Lindon with the kids

Well took the kids out to Lindon today. Made it to the lake at around 1 and started fishing the north dike just like last weekend with bobbers and nothing happening. Swithched over to lines on the bottom and my 5 year old was able to catch 2 bullheads. Drove back around and started fishing the south dike and nothing happening. Talked to a guy fishing the inside and he was picking up a few so tried that. All told my 5 year old boy caught 4 my 9 year old girl caught 3 and my 8 year old boy caught 2. So pretty slow day compared to last weekend. Had a good time though. Planning to head to Maybe Pond tomorrow with the wife and kids should be fun.

Well got ready to head out and had a flat so delayed some yesterday getting to leave. Got to Maybe Pond and to many people already there to try and fish so headed over to Kaysville Ponds. Only fished for about an hour before the wind and rain came in. Wife and I both picked up a largemouth each about 11-13 inch range. I have done pretty good at Maybe Pond this year on cats. Not sure if they are carry overs from previous years. Planning a trip up to Pioneer Park sometime next weekend with the family.
