Scofield?

Has anyone fished Scofield from the shore in the past week? I was thinking about going down there on Sunday. How long a drive is it from the SLC.

I went 60 mph the whole way to kinda conserve my meager gas supply when I went and it took me about an hour and 45 minutes. Granted, there were some spots where my "gutless wonder" pickup wouldn't do 60 uphill but I would guess that you're looking at around and hour and a half or so.

My pappy can make it to Scofield in an hour flat from SLC. Kinda helps going 80+, even up the canyon in Blackie, though...

I'd figure an hour and a half for normal folks. Should be getting good any time now... Another two weeks and I'll start fishing up there weekly. Great fishing for big fish, if you know where and how to do it...

Well my dad can make it from SLC in 45 minutes! No way can your pappy make it in 1 hour from SLC. 50 minutes from Spanish Fork if you're flying and I would like to get a hold of the human teleporting system that can put your pappy from SLC to SF in 10 minutes.

Hmmm... According to Mapquest.com Scofield is 111 miles from SLC. Averaging 111 MPH would be quite the feat, especially up HWY 6, the deadliest road in UT.

Well thats not too bad of a drive. Has anyone been catching anything there now, I hear the fishing is crazy when the ice comes off. Anyone been out there the last week or so??

All I know is what the clock says... We leave about 5, get there around 6. Maybe it's off. Then again, it'd have to be off the entirety of last year, because we did it in around an hour every time...
