Anybody got any recent report on ice conditions for Boulder? I'm thinking of taking a early trip just after finals.

dude -- why worry? Just take an auger with you. One of my best trips ever was fishing the hard deck on Blind -- in JUNE!!

Just take an auger. If the water is open, great. If it's not, you have the means to drill a hole...

The only thing worring me is how much snow is left. I hate having to change plans because of snow. I pack a axe along with a tube for some lakes but usually check the couple lakes first.

where you thinking of heading? My father in-law was over in the White's Creek area earlier this week -- ran into 6 bears....2 sows and 4 cubs....

This early, and you'll most likely run into a few drifts still...

Usually end up on the south side since its closer and I have a dozen decent options. If I end up Ice fishing it'll be okay, easy fishing on the springs.
