trolled deer creek 5/9 trieng for walleyes and caught two rainbows,fished from 10 to 3,has any one had any luck on any walleyes at deer creek yet.

What was you using to catch the rainbows? I'm going to try my luck their this weekend and am targeting bows.

we used 2- 3'' rapalas hitting the bottom once in a while,trolling along the shore lines.i did lose a couple more on the same lures.perch color and fire tiger,let me know how ya do, and if you happen to hook into any walleyes

TOLD YA DC WAS TUFF FOR EYES. U HAD THE RIGHT BAIT IF IT WAS WINDY. IF IT WAS CALM YOU WERE WAY OFF.

Hey Crossin I just got back from DC morning float. Rowed out to the flats dragged (drifted) a bottom bouncer nightcrawler rig. Picked up 2 eyes. 1st eyes of the year tiny skinny little buggers they were 12 and 9 in. Neither came close to weighing a pound. Maybe we should trade some DC tips? Tried to take a pic or 2 but I'm still having problems with the new camera. Starting to feel electronicly challenged I am. BTW 1st smallie of the year and trout as usual. A couple more weeks and DC should be full bassin off the rocks pickin eyes in places they shouldn't be <grins>.
