NEW EQUIPMENT
#1
Just got home from Lehi, I needed to pick up a Mothers Day gift for my wife. She made out like a theif, 2 Scotty downriggers, 2 new rods with level wind reels and a bag of candy. I think that I may have spoiled her. She needed to gear up for the upcoming trip to the Gorge.
Now I need to go to Sportsmans and continue my efforts tobuy them out of Shasta tackle.

I hope TubeBabe doesn't read that post! She'd probably line your "omlet" with some of those spicy matsuo hooks! OUCH![Wink]

[cool][#0000ff]Nah. She's a good sport. Has to be to put up with me. She's heard that one often enough that it doesn't phase her any more. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]One of the others I use is "I bought a dozen long stemmed roses for the woman I love. I also got a potted plant for my wife."[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]And, by the way, I am the omelette chef in our house. No hooks in the ones I cook. Although some of my spicy chorizo "scramblettes" might make your tummy feel like there was something prickly in there.[/#0000ff]

Do your wives have any single sisters??? You have to love a woman that can appreciate a good down rigger or a bamboo pole[Smile] This morning I fueled up the Harley and stopped by Walmart to pick out some nice roses for my mom. You should have seen the people stare as I stuffed em in the Saddle bag. But they made them to my home town in tack and alive. Mom loved em. Then dad hooked me up with the latest and greatest tackle for Villa derby next weekend.
