Anyone checked out the Ogden River recently? The wife and I were thinking about tossing some spinners there this upcoming Sunday, but I don't want to drive all the way up there if the water is still moving too fast.

It looked good monday night but with all these storms and rain it is anyones guess about sunday. Try the south fork instead it is pretty much done with runoff and the fishing is awesome with flies and lures.

Drove past it this morning before the storms. A LH2 said, it looks pretty good. Water was clear and relatively low (lower than in recent weeks).. However, these storm that are just know moving through may change all of that. The other factor to consider is the rate at which Pineview is releasing water.

The lower ogden (mouth of the canyon on down) is still higher than normal, but actually still fishable, alot of pressure along the parkway though. From the mouth up to the dam looks great, I've been wanting to hit it myself. Let us know if you go, and how well you do.
