Hit Lindon last night and today until about noon. Started out fishing of the north dike on the outside with the normal bait of choice with no luck. Seen a couple of guys out closer to the point pick up a few with bobbers up close to shore on shrimp so moved a little closer. Hooked a nice 6 pound kitty and had a few more nibbles. Moved over to the south dike around 9 on the outside and threw out one line on the bottom with my go to bait redsides and had a few small nibbles and caught a white bass about 9 inches long. Continued with a bobber and shrimp and worm combo and picked up 2 nice white bass and a few mudcats. After dark switched both lines over to the bottom, one with redsides for a while and one with shrimp and crawler. Never had a good bite on either one so switched one line over to cut white bass and had some good action but couldn't get them in. Had one wrap around weeds out deep and come off. Had 2 other long distance releases that I was sure were cats and had another come smoking in and wrap around a bush about 5 feet from shore and break off. At about 6 this morning moved back over to the north side where I picked up the one from the night before and went back to the worm and shrimp with a bobber and one on the bottom with cut up white bass. Picked up one about 5 pounds on the bobber and had a few more good bites so switched both lines to shrimp and worm under a bobber. Ended up picking up 6 cats between 630-1030 with the biggest being the last one of the day at 31inches and almost 15 pounds.
