Lake Mead tips?

I'm going to be heading to Lake Mead this coming weekend and was wondering if anyone had any tips for lures, baits, or techniques. I've never been there before so I'm at a loss of what to use. I'll be fishing in a tube and might take my kayak as well. Thanks for the help.

Check the Nevada board. There is a bunch of guys that fish and report on Mead over there!
