Is it worth it? A buddy of mine and I want to go out on thursday and we re looking for a place were we have a chance to catch a nice fish. All the reports I have been seeing are from boats. IS it worth going out if I would have to fish from the shore?

Please help

You can catch them. If you are willing to fish extremely early (preferably a couple hours before the sun rises) you can increase your chances. I would recommend fishing the Soldier Creek side in deeper water.

Hi Kent just got back from the Berry. Thought you might like to know the minnows are in. Picked up 50 or so red shiners this morning just before dawn. Another 50 or so chubs. Drifted them behind the toon in the haws Point area. Fishing was a little slow, picked up ten between the 2 of us. All cutts at the upper end of the slot. Nothing to write home about though. PM me if ya want to know where I netted the minnows.
