Last year Nomoose posted a great map and how-to on here, its prolly in the pineview archives, i would start there. So far our only hookup was trolling a brown Rapala about 2 mph in about 10 to 15 ft of water just south of Anderson cove. Good luck, don't break any records [Wink]!

HAHAHA! LMAO! Good one TF!
Anyway, i haven't been up for a month or so, so i am not sure what is happening. A good bet would be buzzbaits casted into the flooded brush on the north side of cemetary point. Chartreuse or white skirts with a gold or silver blade. Ask jason about our trips and he'll tell ya. Hope this helps. Good luck and thanks a million.

[cool][#0000ff]There is a "Search" button at the top of every thread, along with the other menu items. You should play around with that and learn to use it. You can look up past posts by who posted it, topic, date, etc. Just a couple of key words and you will usually have several posts to look at.[/#0000ff]

[black]Just one point about the search window. It has a bug.[/black]
[black][/black]
[black]In the "Fields to Search" box select either Subject or Body ... but NEVER "Subject and Body" (both).

If you select "both" you get all posts. Not just the ones you think you are after.[/black]

try buzzbaits for the first few hours in the early morning. try all black buzzbait, blades, shirt, weight. after the morning bite is over I would troll firetiger j-9 rapala. in about 15 feet of water around cemetary point. troll out the lenth of the point out pass the bouy a ways. hope this helps, later chuck

Thanks for all of the help fellas. We fished from 6:30 until 11:00 when the boats started pouring in. It just wasn't my day I guess. I caught one perch all day, must have casted 500 times yesterday! I saw 4 tigers caught from boats fishing near me, so i know they were there. Water looked like glass until about 7:00, weather was great, water temp. was in the 70's most of the day. My buddy fishing with me caught a few smallmouth on curlytails and a perch on a tube.

Still better than work.

Yeah, I could use the help. I picked up a few buzz baits at Sportsmans and my arm is pretty damn sore from chucking those around all morning. I was just far enough away I couldn't see what the fellas around me were using. I saw one fish caught that looked to be about 40 or 45 inches, the rest were 30 or so. I was just getting pissed at myself the more we fished. The shoreline right now is beautiful, lots of fludded brush and fishy looking structure. I thought for sure I would have been catching something. I was so anxious to catch something, when the poor little perch bit my jig I set the hook so hard I jerked him right out of the water.

Hell yeah LH2, I would love to go up with someone to show me what the hell I am doing wrong.

By the way this Monday morning is going I wish I could go right now. Unfortunately I have to work until 6:00 tonight. The rest of the week looks good though if you want to go up.
