Where to moor a boat?

I would like to leave my boat somewhere for a few days while I do some maintenance work on my boat trailer. I checked with the state on reserving a slip at Jordanelle State Park and was told it would be $8.00 for the processing fee and $15.00 a day. If necessary, I will pay that much, but I was hoping to find somewhere more reasonable not far from Bountiful/SLC. Any recommendations?

Kent - if the trailer repairs mean roller replacement etc. - why don't you put a couple of 2x12's under you boat and jack it up with a hydraulic jack and do the repair? Make sure the tires are blocked and the front coupler is secured.

Now if you are taking about a sand blast and paint that's a different story.
