Do people jetski or waterski on Pelican? Is it wakeless/speed-limited? If not, any big wakeless zones?

[cool][#0000ff]As far as I know, there are no motor restrictions on Pelican. However, I also do not recall seeing any skiers or PWC. The lake is notorious for "swimmers' itch" and anyone playing in that water without a full body suit is not likely to do it more than once.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff] [#0000ff]There are also no "wakeless zones". The only times that power squadron activity becomes troublesome is on busy weekends or when they have bass tournaments. Most of the time it is a tuber and tooner paradise. Plenty of water, lots of reeds and weeds and bajillions of fish. If you time it right, you can wear your rod arm out and ruin your face by perpetual grinning.[/#0000ff] [signature] |
