Hit the lake on the 30th. 4 of us landed 50 fish all at least 19 inches. My son was the winner with this 26" 6.17 pounder. Fall is a blast!!! Fished between 10 and 20 feet near chicken creek using white tubes.

It's gonna be hard driving by there on friday and not fishing, but the elk gods are calling me. Maybe it will be this good after ice-up.[cool]

Not trying to be critical of your post, However when I looked at your picture of that nice fish, It looks like that is a white grub type jig rather than a tube. I am going up there Friday to fish and want to take the right stuff up there. Once again, I am not trying to be a jerk, just wanting to take the right stuff up there to have some of the same sucess that you and others are having.

Thanks

RILEY

Looks like a white tube to me but hey I haven't been fishing in a while . LOL !! Grubs , senkos , and tubes will all work up there . White is a popular color .
 Nice Cutt !!

Yes it was a tube jig. Thats what we all used, as did most others that we were around. I did catch about twice as many fish as my son but I would have settled for that beast as my only catch. Its a great time of year to be up there and I hope you enjoy your trip.
