[#0000ff]It has always been amazing to me how many times a first time angler or a total doofus will catch the first, most and/or biggest fish of the trip. Not saying the ranger fit those descriptions, 'cause I don't know him, but his choice of tackle is not what most record seekers would choose.[/#0000ff]

[cool][#0000ff]That was not even a funny joke down in Arizona. Two years in a row, the biggest bass (12.5# and 14.3#) were caught by kids fishing with Barbie outfits. [/#0000ff]

[cool][#0000ff]Yep, they did. The tail is just short of the 30" mark. And it looks even more like a rainbow in that picture. But, it was reviewed and certified by a DWR rep down there so I guess we can accept that.[/#0000ff]

fishing is all about tricking the fish. the last thing an old wiley fish expects is for someone to be using daredevils and a barbie pole. was this guys catch an accident? maybe not? let this be a lesson to all the trophy hunters out there. LOL
