[cool][#0000ff]Hate to get picky but avatar picture sizes are getting out of hand. It has been posted and reposted that the maximum size for avatars is 150 pixels wide. Lately everybody seems to want an ego massage by posting avatar pics that take up the whole column, just to show off their prize catches. That's not what these are for.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]If those who are using avatars over 150 pixels wide do not resize or replace them they will lose posting privileges on the Utah boards. The only other option is to eliminate the ability to use avatars. We used to get along without them.[/#0000ff]

(Edit Profile ... Display Settings ... View User's Signatures = NO)
But I have not been successful in turning off the avatars. Setting the "Show Other User's Icons" to NO doesn't seem to have any effect. Any Idea what I am doing wrong or what I need to do to turn off avatars?[/#002850][/font][/size]

[cool][#0000ff]All BFTers are not created equal. Some members still struggle to just log on properly and don't know all the tweaks and wiggles to changing their viewing screens. Also, those with dialup service have much slower loading times and they really have to be dedicated to put up with all the bandwidth we dump on them.[/#0000ff]

Nevermind, i read OC's post. Mine is now 139 wide. Sorry for any inconvenience. I had no idea how to tell how many pixels the pic was.

What does it say for my avatar? When I look it says 150 by 113...
Can't wait for the Berry to freeze. Maybe with this cold week we can walk on Strawberry even earlier than last year!!!
