Went down to Lindon bay this morning to fish for the white bass. The ice is going bad in a hurry. The edges were very soft and waterey. There were a few people fishing but fishing was very slow. I seen very few fish on the Velixar. The only fish I caught was a Carp about 6 pounds. Fun on ice road. The owner of Lindon bay said someone went through the ice yesterday. The ice is about 5 inches in places but getting to this ice is becoming difficult. Fish with caution!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the report. I was considering heading up there in the morning. Maybe I'll head for a higher elevation instead.

Was at Lindon on Sunday.....the gate is closed and LOCKED! Saw no one parking outside and walking in so didn't bother with it. Tried the Utah Lake St park.....also dead. Geez. It's dead everywhere this year.....lol. Well, except for huntington.....lol. Time to try the berry.

Yes you have to pay. It's $2 to walk in, $5 to drive in. They also have a season pass.

The gate has a carabiner on it on the inside. The lock is there to deter most people I think. I have opened the gate on many mornings. The old boy that runs it usually doesn't show up until 11am or so. Just stop at the shack and put your money in an envelope.
