Bear Lake
#1
Challenged the weather Friday and Saturday at the marina.......

Seen a few whites swim bye but the feed bags were off, so much for my go to jigs! [Sad]

Casted spoons for trout till my fingers bled, NADA ZIP NOCHING!!

Came back to Roy today to get caught up on holiday crap.

Weather: 20 degrees, windy, just a dusting of snow
Marina conditions: Very little ice, ramp in great shape,no bubblers running
white fish spawn: drawing to an end, in my opinion, for shore fishing folks.

Thanks for the report Pat, I was sure hoping to make it up there today but the weather report keep us here. So much for trusting those weather guys but maybe we did not miss anything. How bad was the waves on the lake?

[black]Thanks for the Up-date Pat, I was thinking about hitting 'Ol Blue on Monday, targeting some whites, but as per your report I guess the % of catching any; is slim, to none: Thus I'll save the gas $ money and just wish I was fighting the infamous Whites. Hope to see you up there sometime next week, if so we'll throw you in the boat, and head for deeper waters.[/black]

You can still catch the whites, but from the marina shore it is getting slow. There were a few boats out but the water looked to be rough riding, not something to challenge with small vessels.
