Spent Thursday fishing with Chester at Scofield... fishing was completely slow, -18 when we arrived and 30 deg. when we left.
Ice was 9" - 12" but there is a large pressure ridge running east and west through the lake...other than that I would have no concerns about sleds or wheelers-
Hope this helps... PB

I was up there last wednesday and there were a few quads and a snowmobile buzzing out to the island. The ice was at least 8" thick. We had a pretty consistant bite all morning (7am-1pm), caught 22 between me and a buddy. Little orange jigs tipped with pb and worms, off the bottom.
If you go good luck! I think I might head up there on tuesday? or the berry?
