Fished the berry this moning with a friend from work and luvs2atv and his clan, we got there at 6:30 the air temp was -5. we started in 25' of water then moved out to about 20' I caught 2 22 inchers right of the bat and things slowed way down. we ended up with 8 or 9 between us. luvs2atv caught the big fish of the day a nice 25 incher. Talk about slow when we left at 12:30 MGB only had 2 fish.

[black]We had a good day on Strawberry. Caught all the fish a guy could want. We fished a couple different areas and checked out a lot of ice. Here's a few pics that Polo took of our trip.[/black]

Hey Mike,
If you went to the ladders and arrived at 6:30, we were the idiots out in the ice shack that spent the night! I guarantee it never got ABOVE -5 the whole night! We ended up with 22 fish between us...but that was 15 hours of fishing! Slow slow slow. The best fishing was 7:30 a.m. as soon as the sun hit the ice. We caught most our fish after that. I'll post up my official report tomorrow morning when I'm not falling asleep at the keyboard!

The catching never did pick up for us. Stayed untill 4:00 and only iced 4 fish, lost one at the hole and missed 4 bites. My buddy caught 9. The ice is cracking, shifting, shaking and popping all day. A fissure went from the marina's eastern point to mudcreek, it sounded like an explosion.
