Berry Fee Question
#1
Would someone give me a clue about fees at the Berry. I was at CCE and the fee area was covered with a trash bag.

So are just the Strawberry Marina & Solder Creeker Marina pay areas?

I hate getting tickets so please set the record straight..

Thanks for the info.

If it is the same as last year (and I'm pretty sure it is) then there are no fees anywhere at the berry during the winter so have fun and fish hard!

You can thank the DWR, USFS, Wasatch County and the Heber Valley Chamber of Commerce for the plowed roads and free parking. They are all working together to keep the parking lots, roads and restrooms open.

They won't be plowing the road to Soldier Creek Marina... There's too much liability involved for that - (fear of someone mistakenly driving in- getting stuck and freezing to death).

That's why they only plow the parking area next to Hwy 40...PB

The DWR must have forgotten the money part on their board. Thats where I got the list of people they thanked.

Hey Lundman,
I was wondering the same thing so good question. When I took my dad out I was wondering if we were going to get to fish at all because my dad was spending so much time asking every one in the parking lot the same question. Thanks to every one else for their responses it'll ease the old mans concerns.

It is not plowed to SC marina but I was able to drive in with no problem in 2WD yesterday. Fishing was slow in the bay by the docks. Caught 4 between 3 of us all in the slot on mealworms on the bottom. ice is 8-11". Fished from 9:00-1:00 so not really prime fishing time.
