Temperature was 19* at the Marina around 11:30am(it didn't get any warmer than that). 3 or 4 groups were fishing south of the Marina, so I had all the eastside by the pumps to myself. For a Damn good reason, someone turned the fan on and it was blowing 7 zillion mph. I found fish right away in 40 feet. Than found them in 35. Went around the corner towards the ramp , well it felt better but there was no fish(yep, I left fish to find fish). This sucked, so I went back to 35 feet and turned on the "Artifical Sun". Guess what? There was fish. Stupid W got worse. Absolutely NO SLUSH MONSTERS anywhere. 6" of rock hard terra ferma all around.

The only true and real "SLush Monsters" live at the Berry. It takes a Pirate and his crew to slay the monsters.

Glad the Slush Monster is dead.
Were the fish any more cooperative / hungry than they have been in the recent past?

Tomegun,
How are you affiliated with Maniac Custom Lures?
I started using Ice Cut'rs this year and they ROCK!
I saw a truck at Pineview with the logo on it's side, on New Years Day. Was that you?

Well, I wouldn't be caught dead at Pineview(lol). I guess you could say I'm a prostaffer for James. That was probably Maniac himself. I haven't use the Cut'rs myself, but I've heard very good reports at the Provo Sportsman's.

That was Maniac and myself. We caught some fish, glad to here you like the Ice cutter. I've been really impressed with it myself. We went up to Strawberry last week and it seemed to out produce all my old standards.

Hey Skeeter, which colors of cutters have worked best? Glow, or how about that one with the red in it?

Because he uses the IFG SB special. I'll let you in on how it's made if you cut me a chunk of the profits. If not, so what, I'll still make them myself and give them away.

I have'nt tried the one with the red flake yet. But the ones that have worked for us are the glow and the pearl white. The pearl white we put a little chartruse on the tail for a little flavor.

Did you split the tails on the Cut'rs when you have fished them at Strawberry?
