[cool]Hey all, I haven't seen a report on the ice at Rock Cliffs since mid of last week, and with the current cold snap, I was just wondering if anybody fished it this past weekend and what the conditions are like, and did you get into any perch yet, or is the ice still only out to about 18 feet? Just wondering. Would like to hit that area on MLK Day, but if it's not safe yet in the perch zone, then I'm headed to Pelican again or Mantua...
Also, is the marine around Hailstone freezing up yet? FairwayPhilly, Road, anyone??

[cool][#0000ff]Hey Geoff, didn't you hear? They drained Jordanelle for the winter. No fish left in there anyway.[/#0000ff]

[cool][#0000ff]TubeDude's official prediction is for Rock Cliffs to be perchable by Jan 20th and Hailstone before Feb 1.[/#0000ff]

I fished the Rock Cliffs on Sunday(1/7/07) when I couldn't catch more than one fish at Strawberry.
The ice was a good 7-8 inches thick, but 14 feet deep water was the most I could find. Only caught 4 rainbows, no perch.

I drove by on 1/6 around 2:00 PM on the west side freeway and the lake looked like open water as far as I could see.
