[cool][#0000ff]I was up there today, along with a few other folks enjoying a tropical day. It was about 40 degrees when we got off the ice and the snow on the ground was melting fast. Supposed to be warmer tomorrow. [/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]2" of snow on 6" of ice. No water around the shore. Easy on and off, both at the parking on the north side and down by the swim beach. Also quite a few folks out off Cemetery point. DKS Renegade was out there. Talked to him on the radio. Said he got grundles of perch in 20 feet of water, but only a few porky ones. At least you cn release them from that shallower water.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]TubeBabe and I fished the point at the corner going back into the narrows in 50 feet to 55 feet. Only two crappies but a cooler full of perch for chowder fixins.[/#0000ff]

I fished North of Cemetery today. [Tuesday]
It never got warm enough to soften the ice. Ice was only 4" thick where I fished.
Lots of small perch and 20 that were over 9".
I think that the ice will hold up till the cold comes back on Friday.
Good talking to you TD. The afternoon perch were a little bigger than the morning perch. I moved to 25' of water to find them. That part of Pineview doesn't get very deep, even out to the middle.

I was actually trying to pry at petty, but the more the merrier. I will be there with Kent about o-dark 30 fishing out from the trees somewhere. The perch(the larger ones) have come from the south side of the narrows. Hope to see you there.[cool]
