[cool][#0000ff]1. What kind of camera/telephone are you using?[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]2. What kind of photo software are you using. [/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]It looks like whatever camera you are using does not take large file pictures. They are definitely not "publishing" quality.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]The key is to look at the file sizes on your pics. They are all very small. Anything under 50 KB is a small image. Yours are much smaller.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]The pictures that come out of my "middle range" digital camera are about 900 KB before I "tweak" them. I have to downsize them a lot before I can even attach them to a BFT post.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]If you are using photo software, ease up on the brake a little. We would love to see full size editions of those pictures.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]If you have fresh pictures, that you have not messed with, send them to me by email at [url "mailto:pscouten@comcast.net"]pscouten@comcast.net[/url] . I will do what I can with them.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]And, for future reference, when you want to make changes in your original post, go back to it and click on the edit button and make changes. Don't start a new post.[/#0000ff]

Nice cows dude!

strange how they are all coming around the last couple of years...from cowtown to the banks. Even a few off the East Cape.....strange indeed.

Out of San Diego H & M Landing has some of the top boats and skippers around. We `just moved to Utah 2 years ago. Have been enjoying the trout species. We also fish below Hoover Dam for big strippers as I beleive the state record is some where around 80 lbs or more. This used to be prime rainbow trout waters until strippers in 1982 came over dam letting overflow of water out

[cool][#0000ff]Sounds like you have decent photo equipment. Any chance you could send me a few of the unedited pics and I can see what I can do with them.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]As you (and other BFTers) can see, the images you posted are really small. They cannot be resized upward without losing all resolution.[/#0000ff]

When photos are printed at home the some times come out poster size so we resize them. I will send you photos from home as they have not been editted yet. This email is my work email. Thanks
We have been fishing Little dell and catching some nice cutthroats, but bite has been slower than fall bite when on some days we would catch 40+ fish between my wife and me

[cool][#0000ff]It almost sounds like a settings thing with your software, on how you want the pics displayed.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]I suggest that you download your pics into a named file folder on your computer...using the "G" drive (USB). That will bring them out full size and you can manipulate them afterward. In fact, if you are going to change them, it is sometimes a good idea to make copies into another file so that you can keep the originals if you want to make prints or publish them later.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Let me know in your PM/email whether or not you need more help with the download procedure. I have been doing that for over a year and not even using the camera software program. Faster and easier too.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Glad to hear you are doing well at the Dell. Some nice fish in there. Got any brookies?[/#0000ff]

Haven't caught a brooke trout yet. Seems like it is 80% cutthroat and 20% rainbows. Lake does not have any ice as of sunday

The trip was for 18 days. In order to have a chance at this grade of fish 10 days would be minimum. Everything is included except beer and sodas, other wise it really is a good buy for the money. The state rooms are good size and food is cooked by two chiefs all day, plus snacks and fruit. By the time dinner is served its time too sleep, except a few of us try for fish at night, but next day you really pay for it if we get into a good bite. There have been a few days where you wish the fish would slow down. Fishing with the kite can be awesome too see 200 lb plus tunas jumping out of the water for your bait, I like using about a 2' long humbolt squid (Great bait)

We are making a trip to San Diego later this year, hopefully I will get a chance to get some info from you before we go. I'm sure we won't be out getting 200lb tuna, but at least a point in the right direction would be helpful. Great job out there!

Remember always be prepared, better to take equipment for the cows as you never know when you will come across a big school of cows or even big groupers and yellowtail have been pretty darn big the last couple of years as the world record has been broke 3 times in less than 2 years. Don't want to be fishing with light gear and not have at least 1 rig with 100 lb.

Thanks for the post!!
I hope we can see some bigger pictures of your trip. I would love to make that trip some time. What could be better in Dec. than a warm trip fishing for monsters like that. From your report I guess dec. is a good time to go? If you get a chance would you PM the name of the captain and boat and the cost??
Thanks again for sharing.
