Fishing was very slow for me and my boy today. We arrived at about 10:00 a.m. and fished just left of the boat ramp, in about 25 feet of water. I iced two fish with a few other nibbles. I noticed that people were out there on their quads and machines. I'll be sure to take mine next time, if there is a next time!!

Do you have to pay to park at the boat ramp?
There were so many people there when we drove by, we kept going.
It looked like a good place to launch if you had a 4 wheeler or snowmobile. I was just wondering if you had to pay to park there.

$5.00 would be worth it not to scramble down some of those steep, slick banks.

The boat ramp area has been pounded over the last few days. I think that the fish have moved away from that area now.
Today, [Sunday the 14th] we drove to the far side of the reservoir and found the fishing to be much better,
Most fish were on the bottom in 25' to 65' of water with some suspended throughout the day.
The catch was great in the morning and slowed down a little in the afternoon, like you would expect.

Did you guys drive around to the other end of the pond on the road or across the lake a quad? I think your right about that side of the pond getting pounded. Next time I am going to take my quad and try to find some better fishing. I thought I needed a p.o. box to be out there. It was like a city!!

We went out today the 14th from the boat ramp we walked up the lake quite a ways to get away from the crowd. The fishing was fair with lots of bites we missed. We did ice 6 fish but four were pretty small. The fish seemed to be passing through our area. There would be long lulls between action. We fished ice flys under castmasters and most of our action was 6-12 feet off the bottom.

We drove over to the second outhouse.
It was no secret though. There were more people by us than at the ramp.I think that everyone at the ramp packed up and moved over by us.
One group of jerks came over to where we were fishing and drilled about 20 holes completely surrounding my son. From the parking area, they could see that he was catching a lot of fish. After they moved in and took the place over, the fish left.
