Fished the same place as last time (sw corner) and caught 1 cutt. Had a huge mack to the hole and lost him and 10 other hits and 2 more hookups. Definately a morning bite there, nothing at all after noon except one hit on a dead sticked rod. Edges were very solid and no snow melting. 1 1/2" of snow on the ice. Fished in 85' of water with tubes and cisco.

LH2 those are great pics! I think I was in the same vicinity last weekend, from the looks of the background.

We were there on Tuesday as well. Were you guys the ones withtthe two snowmobiles? We were the group of eight with the snowmobile and the two wheelers just north of the rockpile. If that was you two of us came over close by you guys but never seen a thing on the finders. The morning bite for cutts was pretty good for us but the afternoon was way slowwwwwwwwwwwww! Quite a few hits but no hook ups in the morning. We had one guy in our group that did pretty good for most of the day. He had the lucky stick. We started in 85 feet of water and ended in 65 feet. Most of the nicer cutts the one guy caught came from the 65 foot depth. He ended the day with six and I caught on dink cutt myself. The other six guys had the skunk on. White tubes with cisco. Nice weather day as well. We fished until 4:30.

Thanks for posting your report Brody, sounds like a slow day on the ice. Thats tough, getting a big fish at the hole only to lose it, I guess we have all been there[unsure]. From the sounds of it the catching should start improving soon.

We were the guys to the south of the rock pile about 3/4 of a mile with the ice tent. We kept hearing someone hooting and hollaring over that way. Was that one of you guys? No sleds.

Brody,
I wish I could have fished with you yesterday. I will be out of town until next Wed. When I get back we ought to give another try. I hope the ice is still good.
Sorry about the mac, next time you will get one for sure.

Were you able to drive out on the beach or is it too muddy. I will be fishing on Friday and Saturday near the Rock Pile and just want to know what the access is like.

Not sure what the rock pile area was like but where i was was bad when we left. 4x4 is a very good idea.
