President's day fishing trip

I will finally be getting out the door and onto the ice for the first time this season. Really stinks having to work all the time. I'm heading to Flaming Gorge for some Laker's - size doesn't matter but a big one would be fun. Would like to put a few in the freezer. I will be traveling alone so if anybody wants to hitch a ride I'll leave as soon as I can Sunday morning and return Monday night. Maybe even hit Pelican for a short time.

I could be talked into going to Boysen if anybody wanted to venture that far.

is the road from vernal open to manilla? i wouldnt even try it unless its being plowed. or are you planning on fishing the other end of the gorge?

They keep that road from Vernal cleared . Should be no problem coming from Vernal unless it is a big storm coming thru .One of these years , I hope to hit Boysen . Good Luck on the Gorge .
