I was there last year with the family for a week. First let me say that it is a great place to fish and we caught nice trout, fat little footballs, but the reason they are so fat that time of the year is the MAYFLIES. I hope you like the taste of bugs. It took 2 months to get all the bugs out of my boat the water has a 1/2 inch film of bugs on it and trout slurping them up. It was the largest hatch that I had ever seen and it last for two weeks. I have pictures of the fish and bugs pm me and I will send some to you. One more thing the wind is very bad at that time of year. We had our best luck on the troll very early 6:00 am to 8am before the wind came up. Have fun and remember don't fish with your mouth open.
PS take your wife and stay in a cabin. The Lakeside Resort haas great food and very affordable.

My friend and I are going to be near Kanab and Page, AZ, on May 7-9. We'll have to come home via Panguitch and see everyone. We won't have a boat but it will be fun from shore for a few hours. Hope to see you all there!!

Hey Southernman,
I got the o.k. from my wife, but she needs the car so I need to car pool with somebody from the Salt Lake Area.If any one has some extra room I'll put in money for gas and stuff. I don't have a boat so I would have fish from shore or my float tube.
