Utah Lake Action

Anyone had any luck at Utah Lake. I am taking my boy out in about 2 hours so I need some quick information. We will be on the south end and be fishing for anything that will bite. Any suggestions....I haven't fished Utah this early in the year before. Thank you in advance for your responses!!!

Sorry didn't see this in time, last time I was there there was still lots of ice around, not enough open water to really fish. Hope you caught something, I'm taking my 3 boys down this weekend probably.

We decided at the last minute not go down. I am going to try to take my boy tomorrow. As warm as it was today, I hope ice is not an issue.
Do any of you have luck with cat fish this time of year. I just started fishing for them last year and had a lot of success in the summer months. I hear they are hard to catch when the water is cold.
