Any idea on the ice up there?

I fished Scofield last weekend. 24 inches of solid ice, but the water is rising so the edges were really mushy. Fell through the edge coming off on Saturday. Took the waders up on Sunday to get on and off. You will probably have to wade out to the ice or look around for a safe place to get on the ice. I'm alone this weekend, so I don't think I'll risk Scofield.

Fell through the ice also last Sat at Scofield. Fished with doggonefishin last Saturday by the dam. Edges were cracking when we got on the ice at about 8:30 but were real soft by the time we got off the ice at 1:30 pm. Went through about 8-10 ft from the edges, ran like heck toward the shore after a leg went through. A plank or a ladder may help.
