[cool]Well we only stayed out there an hour or so and you did not miss anything. I only saw 1 fish caught while we were there . My 3 year old had 4 good hits but he missed or they would get off his hook . He would not let me help him at all .He is going to be a great angler one day. But it was fun to be together today and enjoy my lil bubba!!! Plus he had fun feeding this duck.

Good pics. I need to get out and fish that more, in april i start the thurs night fishing class with the kiddies. I have heard most of the fish being caught out of there come out to the north end where the outlet is at, i think the water is moving more over there so the trout like it a bit more, or around the north-east side off the "point" and into that first bad that is almost directly across from the parkin lot. that is where i take my group when class is in session and it seems that no matter what a few of them hook into something round that area. i think with the vegitation and all in the southern end of that pond you are better off there using spinners and small rapalas type baits but keep it to shallow runners and the bass in there will hammer them, on the spinners i have been able to pick up the occasional "cruiser" trout as well, most of the time they are lakers. i do see alot of gills' all around the lake pushed up into the weed pockets that stick out at the water line, thats always worth a shot to dip something just into the dark water in those areas and see what predators are waiting for one of the gills' to get too relaxed. i have even used a gill' pattern hair jig deal that magically appeared in my tackle. if its worms and power stink or eggs you use i would stick around the north to northeast end of it, and for god sake use a bobber you dont want your bait sittin in the muck on the bottom no fish will see it, keep it up and just adjust the length from bobber to bait to dial in what the fishys want.
just some info i have gathered through a few years of teaching class there hope it helps you and Junior hook into some "catching" memories too. i know my lil fish always like it more when we eat em the next night off the barby.
