What lakes are your specialty?

[font "Comic Sans MS"][size 2][#002850]Every once in a while I ponder the idea of PM'ing a fellow BFTer and trying to con them into taking me fishing with them on a lake that they are pretty good at. That got me thinking that it would be kind of interesting to read what you all consider to be your top three waters and what fish in those waters you are most proficient at targeting.

For me, it's: [ol] [li]Wipers at Willard[/li] [li]Mackinaw at Bear Lake[/li] [li]Tiger Musky at Pineview[/li][/ol]
Don't get me wrong here, I ain't good at any of the above. They are just my top three.

For me:

1- Ogden River- Trout. Have fished it since I was a kid, and know it like the back of my hand.
2- Pineview- Smallies. I love that place.
3- Tie between Strawberry and Willard- Ice fishing Strawberry for trout and tubing Willard for all species except walleye.

Trout on hardware and plastics, on just about any river I can gain access to. Granted some waters are a little different but for some reason, I've been able to figure them out pretty quickly.

Tubing for Bass, fishing plastics and topwaters at a few well known waters, and some not so well known.

Fishing the east side of Utah Lake for catfish, bass, and occasionally some trout. [cool]

Living in Ogden, my list would have to be:

1: Willard for Wipers
2: Willard for anything else! (gotta love having that place in my back yard!)
3: Ogden and Weber rivers for the trout!

Haven't done much fishing at the View yet, but this year I will be fishing there alot more!

On a side note: My neighbor got himself a walleye last night out at Willard fishing off the bank. Pic attached!

1. Macks and Kokes at the Gorge
2. Cutts at the berry
3. any kind of trout at Lost Creek. Thats where my grandfather taught me to fish as a young boy.

My top three that i am proficient at are as fallows:
#1 Pineview tiger muskies on topwater
#2 Pineview smallies on plastics and topwater
#3 willard bay wipers on topwater and trolling cranks

I am a relatively new fisherman, I've been fishing for years but never really learned anything. I recently purchased a fishing boat and am now getting seriously into the sport. Here is my expertise so far

Quail: Rainbows, Bass soon
Sand Hollow: Bass soon
Baker: Trout
Powell: I can catch strippers, but will be making a trip next weekend and will be pursuing Large, Small, and anything else in the lake

I have been making weekly trips out to the lake and hope to soon been a good resource for fishing in southern utah

Mantua for perch and gills.
Echo for smallies, not many big ones but lots of numbers.
Starvation is moving into my favorite though after only 1 trip for crawfish

1) Flyfishing for trout,grayling in the Uintas (backcountry with no one around)
2) Anything from rapalas to flyfishing for Tigers at Pineview
3) Flyfishing Yellowstone for Cutts

I would have to say the ogden river is first on my list, then Lost Creek hard or soft water, and Willard wipers.

1) Snake River (at least one section of the river) for sturgeon
2) Strawberry for cutts
3) Lots of ties for third (I really enjoy fishing a large variety of waters and for multi-species).
