Hey Chuck, how you been? It didn't look like a photo shop picture to me either but that is the first fish I've ever seen with teeth like that. Sure wouldn't want to go wading around that area[unsure], any idea where those tiger fish come from?

I like that idea Justin, now we just have to convince the DWR, think they will go for it[

For sure. For that matter where ever the water skiers go we should have them, to keep the population in check like 0.

[cool][#0000ff]The fish in the original post are tiger fish, from Africa. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff][/#0000ff] [#0000ff]You may be thinking of the "payara", from South America. They also have big nasty teeth. I had a guy going once when I told him they were saber toothed crappies.[/#0000ff] [#0000ff][/#0000ff] [signature]

They have the nastiest fish down there! The Payara from Venezuela has lower jaw "fangs" so long that they fit into sockets in the upper jaw.Google it and check 'em out!

It's called a WUSKY and is a cross between the Wiper and Musky and is soon to be planted in Willard Bay just for the purpose of keeping the water and jet skier numbers down. [

The fish in the photo above is a Payara from the Amazon river in. I use to have a couple in a fish tank with some Peacock bass. Although mine were small they were a very entertaining fish to watch eat goldfish!!!!

The original fish that was shown is a Tiger Fish from the Nile river in Africa. That is no Photoshop and they are quite real. Both are on my fish to catch list one day!!!!!!!! [signature]

Since they are just a cross, I'm sure the DWR would support us[

], anyone else on board with this idea. One more picture.[signature]

[black][size 3]Once that the DWR gets them planted in Willard, would fishing for them from a tube be considered "combat fishing"?[/size][/black]

I saw that fish for the first time a few years back in one of the Fly Fishing Magazines I get. You think Tiger Musky can be a little scary!

I would think you would need a chain leader. Saberfish, got a good point on the TUBE but just think NO JET SKIING! Wahoo![cool] [signature] |
