I just saw an infommercial of it. I had no clue it was still around. I remember when i was a kid it was all over t.v. so I got a laugh out of it and even bought it. Does anyone here use the minnow system these days."come on banjo play me a song"-infommercial lmao

Hey they can work. I dunnow about the "system" they advertise, but I imagine throwing em on a Carolina or Texas rig would produce some nice fish. [cool]

WOW !! I remember that infomercial. I wanted some to but never had a credit card to buy. I did how ever try them on the Price river and caught a couple. I want to try them on Hobble Creek in my back yard.

i have used the banjo minoow system. the system tended to catch less fish that carolina rigging them. now those little minoows just sit in my soft plastic case...rarely getting used

I used up a whole set of the Banjo's at the gorge playing with the smallies. I used the set up with the screw in the nose and the bullet weight pinned on head of the hook eye and the stand up jig thingy they send just letting it fall against the cliff edges all over the lake..horse shoe canyn. over towards wyo., near sheeps creek thats about the only action i could get on those was smallies in the gorge..most other places i tried them didnt fare me too well.
