Using bottom bouncers, have you ever caught other kinds of fish besides walleyes?
I've caught perch on bottom bouncers more than my fair share of time at Yuba. I've caught some wipers with that too, but it was a accident. Anybody ever catch smallies, LMB, trout etc? Share your stories with us here.

We have caught perch at Yuba and Deer Creek bottom bouncing and wipers and catfish at Willard also. The catfish get irritating often times at Willard while trying to get eyes.

[blue][size 2]I've caught a few other species. But most memorable is watching WalleyeBob's face when, after setting the hook while BB'ing at Deer Creek, he reeled in a--what did you call it Bob?--a "slimey whirling disease infected snot rocket"? That's rainbow trout in Bob talk.[/size][/blue] [sly]

I've caught a few catfish at Willard using bottom bouncers, and Northern Pike, on Fort Peck Reservoir in Montana.

Catfish? That's mighty interesting. But then again I recalled time a cat caught on a bottom bouncer with crawler harness at Willard one time. My friend had a shocked expression on his face when he brougt in a tiny cat. Ha ha!
