COME TO THE ALL SPECIES COUNT - BIOBLITZ FESTIVAL JUNE 15 & 16, 2007
#1
Looking for a fun family activity that gets everyone out of the house and into some Colorado nature? BioBlitz is a celebration of biodiversity and a 24-hour count of everything that grows, creeps, crawls, hops, flies or slithers. You can be a part of science as we count everything living because ALL SPECIES COUNT!

Anchored at the Audubon Center at Chatfield Reservoir, the event will kick off Friday the 15th with campfire tales and continues through Saturday with various counts and presentations on birds, bugs, mollusks, reptiles and more. An open house, sponsored by the Colorado Division of Wildlife, will be held at the Center from 9 a.m to 1 p.m. on Saturday, where attendees can visit exhibits such as the "Creepy Crawly Quest" and "Our Wild Neighbors."
