And it's a bit humid in there too. My Fat Cat is sitting on the floor, deflated that I can push my thumb in about 3" or more, so it's limp.
My question is, is it okay to keep my Fat Cat in the garage when it gets hot in there & t humid? Or will the heat & humidity ruin the urethane bladder(s) and/or the outside materials??? Should I keep my tackle boxes and other stuff inside the Fat Cat while out in the garage also when it's hot? Will my stuff somehow ruin my Fat Cat???
Thanks for any answers....

[cool][#0000ff]When I lived in Arizona, my Fat Cats did fine languishing inside my garage...where it sometimes exceeded 120 degrees inside during the summer. But, like they say in Hell...it was a nice dry heat. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]All of the materials, including the urethane bladder, are durable enough to withstand some extremes of temperature and humidity. No worries. Just keep the tube partially deflated so that it does not overexpand at the highest temps.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]If you use plastic lure boxes, it is better to keep them in cooler conditions. But, again, they will withstand hours of hot sun on fishing trips. Although some of my tackle boxes did get warped over time after numerous trips in the Arizona sun. At any rate, there is not likely anything in or on your tackle boxes that would damage your tube. They can be safely left in your garage...inside your pride and joy.[/#0000ff]

Hi Ghostrider
I live in hot, muggy New York State (it gets in the upper 90's here with up to 80% humidity) and I leave my Fat Cat hanging from the garage ceilig rack semi-inflated with pockets loaded with gear and never had a problem. It even hangs up there in the winter in the same state.

We just put pullies in our garage to raise our pontoon boats. It was about 93 degrees the day we did this with humidity high because of the thunder storms we get off and on.
While up in the rafters of the garage, the old man put a thermostat up there. When he pulled it down it was a 120 degrees. We have those bedding mattresses that you just open the valve and they inflate....right now they are fully inflated because of the heat.
Anyway, we leave our pontoons softly inflated year round in the garage and they are fine. As far as the boxes, if they are air tight would be nice...don't want rusty hooks.
