New Shooter - Shotgun

I just got a gun and need someplace to shoot it. I live in Bountiful and have no idea where to go - can anyone help? I haven't shot in 15+ years and decided I wanted a gun and miss the fun of knocking targets out of the air. Someone please give me some direction!

I would imagine you could go up farmington canyon and shatter some pigeons. There is also a county gun range right up by the "B". Not sure if they have a shotgun range or not. If neither will work the ogden gun club is open on wednesday nights and sunday all day.

I would suggest the Bountiful Lions Club range. It's up by the B on the mountain. Kinda hard to get to, but it's open every day to the public. Lunkerhunter referred to this in his post, but the County range is in Fruit Heights.

Thanks for the replies. How about public land type of stuff. This guy I work with says he goes somewhere and due to the fact that it is federal land or something along those lines can shoot without an issue?
