Be afraid, Be very afraid!!
#1
I got this in an email the other day. Thought it was rather interesting and worth sharing.

Have you heard this before? Think about it as you read these six statements. Any guess as to who made these statments?

(1) "We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."

(2) "It's time for a new beginning, for an end to government of the few, by the few, and for the few...... And to replace it with shared responsibility for shared prosperity."

(3) "(We) ....can't just let business as usual go on, and that means something has to be taken away from some people."

(4) "We have to build a political consensus and that requires people to give up a little bit of their own turf in order to create this common ground."

(5) "I certainly think the free-market has failed."

(6) "I think it's time to send a clear message to what has become the most profitable sector in (the) entire economy that they are being watched."
Now you might think these were the famous words of the Father of communism Karl Marx. These words
of socialist/Marxist wisdom are from none other than our very own, home-grown Marxist......... [inline HC.bmp]

Well spoken. [laugh] Unfortunately, it's the same ole' replies from you. Rather than emotionally driven insults you should try using logic and reason. Your postition may actually have a chance to be heard. Until then, keep on flinging insults and turning folks off before they have a chance to read what your actually trying to point out.

Talk about more Horse shit running off of your lips. I like the other 97% of the folks on this board support their right to bear arms. If not other left wing extremists and space cadets like your self, among the other three percent would make it so we would not have them to protect ourselves from the criminals that run our streets. Its difficult if not impossible for the law enforcement in this country to be able to do it all. The good law abiding citizen that has a firearm needs to help.

jets and bombs, and machine guns, and gas masks, and body armor, and troop carriers, and missiles, and nuclear submarines, thats what arms we were discussing,,,,,

not hunting or home protection . . .

and when you take to the streets armed with no authority and training, youre just another gun nut who needs to be shot down like a rabid dog , , theres a big difference between a police force and a 'well meaning' armed mob

And Thank the Lord that OUR military has them to protect our country from the other wacko 3rd world countries that would try and take us over if they felt they could.

Machine guns, Gas masks, body armor, Yes those are all things that our Law enforcement personel have. I DO know that they have them. Once again, Thank the lord for that also.

Then he tries to re-define socialism in an effort to conceal the real meaning of the term "socialism". Socialism is an eliteist, self-serving state of mind. It's the idea that the government somehow knows whats best for the people. How to spend your money, how to school our children, even how we can or cannot own guns. Not to mention the re-distribution of wealth. He thinks we need a national health care system but wants us to pay for it. Rather than take a dollar out of his own pocket to fund these "social" programs he helps himself to your dollar. Who's gonna pay for these programs Tony? You want to penalize a person or bussiness for doing well by increasing their tax rate simply because they are driven to succeed.

That's easy. By the time you realize the seriousness of the direct threats you call "fear" it will be far to late. Your "facts" are as subject to my critisism, it's an entirely subjective term, "facts". Whose facts, yours?
