Have you ever tried going to www.topozone.com and type blue lake , UT in the search . you will get 15 blue lakes but the one you are looking for is Tooele county . This lake is about 30 miles south of Wendover . I have never fished it but have heard about it . They get lots of scuba divers out there . It is known for the warm springs that keep the water warm all winter .

Doug Miller did a short piece on it a while back and all though they were catching bass fast and furious, it looked like the average size was fairly small.(~12in.) Still, it would be a great excuse to go to Wendover for a weekend! Also, if you want to go, go now before the mosquitoes get to epidemic levels. I stopped by there once on my way from Wendover to Trout Springs in June and only got out of the truck for a few seconds before I was almost carried away! LOL Here is a link with some diving info and more importantly, directions

Remember to take plenty of "taxes" to donate while in Nevada![Smile]

Been there once, but couldn't tell you how to get there from memory. I do remember it was hot, and there were so many divers around you couldn't get to the water. I think it was June, and the bugs were already really bad, horse flies and other little "biters". Didn't impress me enough to make me want to go back.

I've fished it a few times but only in the winter. There are some huge bass in there, I've only caught the small ones but there are bass in there that will go 10 pounds or at least they looked that big. The pond is only a 100 yards by 50 yards but is 60feet deep in the middle. There are a lot of smaller ponds around it that have bluegill, perch and bass. I could be wrong but I remember it being 12 miles south of Wendover. It's a warm spring feed lake, you can wade in it in the middle of winter and be warm, at least until you get out.

No , I think you are talking about Timpie springs . There is small fish in there and I would have to say they look like bass , but the ones I seen were no bigger than 6" and most were smaller than that . Never fished it . This is before you get to Delle .

well these others sound fun to fish. Is it just off the highway or back aways?
