Fishing line question

Hi! I found a 20lb trilene fishing line brand new with the plastic on it, the my only worry is that it´s been on the car trunk for over 8 years. Can I use that line or should I trow it away? Thank you very much for replying.

8 years in the car trunk is not good for fishing line especially with the heat that hits our area of the globe.

Your safest route would be to take that line to a fishing line recycling place and buy a new roll.[cool]

I have found out that if you wet your line frequently enough, it won't go bad on you so fast.[cool]
