Cabela's is hunting for a seasoned wordsmith with overwhelming outdoor attitude to create compelling copy and editorial content to support our growing Catalog, Internet and Retail departments. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in English, journalism or a related field, as well as two years of professional writing experience. Knowledge of Retail, Internet, Promotional and Direct Mail writing strategies and in-depth knowledge of Cabela's products and services are a plus. In addition, applicants should possess strong knowledge in the areas of hunting, fishing and camping. Product knowledge and writing skills will be tested. This is not a freelance job. Relocation to Sidney, Nebraska is required. Sidney is located on the high plains in the state's panhandle region, just three hours from the Rocky Mountains and four hours from the South Dakota Black Hills.
