Buying Used Rifles?
#1
[#808000]All of the rifles I own I have either inherited, recieved as gifts or purchased new through the years. But I have been paying attention to the adds on KSL and there are some sweet deals to be made right now on some used rifles.[/#808000]

[#808000]So my question is what are the rules regarding selling used firearms accross state lines. Can I come down to Utah and purchase a used firearm and take it accross state lines without some type of background check?[/#808000]

Definately spend the two minutes and get a signed bill of sale. It's worth the piece of mind.

I have sold a couple of firearms over the years and would say ditto on the bill of sale. I always do 2 bills of sale one for me and one for the buyer, it is CYA on all parts.

[#808000]Thanks for the help guys. That is exactly how I thought it was, but I had seen alot adds on KSL that said that you must have a Utah Drivers License to purchase. So I thought that maybe Utah had some type of law that I did not know about. [/#808000]
