] To think of it that is just about how those tools work. One places the tool to the tip of their fly rod then catch the twig just above the fly and pull on the string to cut the twig. Oh yea don't forget to release the tool from your rod or else @!##<>?.[/size][/green][/font][signature]

..I had no idea that was what that thing was used for.. I take it that it is a lot smaller than it appears in the pictures...

[cool][font "Pristina"][green][size 4]I would image that several fishing related stores would also carry them. Just Google "fly retriever". Now you must remember one thing MacFly and that is the sucker won't cut timber either in or out of the water. LOL [
