		From the tube I'm mostly after pike, on the fly. No panfish as you know them here in Ireland but we do have some perch which can approach 4lbs in weight and also can be taken on fly from the tube. 
	
	
	
	
Most anglers return these fish as the stocks are under pressure although the recent massive influx of Eastern European immigrants have their own less conservation -oriented mindset [  ][signature]

		So if Pike are your primary quarry, I am assuming that you are using fairly large flies and heavier 8wt rods ??  or are you using a 5-6 wt rod ??

		Going slightly OT I tend to use an 8/9 weight outfit for pike, although I used to use a 7 and it worked ok also.

		Mostly trout, largemouth and smallmouth bass, and bluegills for me - on fly tackle. Occasionally landlocked atlantic salmon. I'd still like to figure out a consistent way to catch carp on fly tackle from the tube.
