[#c00000]If Hillary wins in 2008 and Bill is 'appointed' to fill her Senate seat and either live to retire 'they' (together or alone) would get two US Presidential retirement checks, two US Senate retirement checks, and a retirement check from the State of Arkansas . [/#000000][#c00000]About the only thing they MIGHT NOT get is a Social Security check....but I wouldn't bet on it....I understand ole Bill has earned $40,000,000 in the past six years. What a guy! [/#c00000]
[#000000] [/#000000][#000000]

[/#000000][#c00000]AND THE REST OF THE STORY..Hillary Clinton, as a New York State Senator, now comes under the 'Congressional Retirement and Staffing Plan,' which means that even if she never gets reelected, she STILL receives her Congressional salary until she dies. (Would it not be nice if all Americans were pension eligible after only 4 years?) [/#c00000]
[#000000] [/#000000][#000000]
[/#000000][#c00000]If Bill outlives her, he then inherits HER salary until HE dies. He is already getting his Presidential salary until he dies. If Hillary outlives Bill, she also gets HIS salary until she dies. Guess who pays for that? [/#c00000]
[#000000] [/#000000][#000000]
[/#000000][#c00000]It's common knowledge that in order for her to establish NY residency, they purchased a million dollar-plus house in upscale Chappaqua, New York[/#c00000][#c00000] [/#c00000][#c00000]. [/#000000][#c00000]Makes sense! [/#c00000]
[#000000] [/#000000][#000000]
[/#000000][#c00000]They are entitled to Secret Service protection for life. Still makes sense. Here is where it becomes interesting. Their mortgage payments hover at around $10,000 per month. BUT, an extra residence 'had' to be built within the acreage to house the Secret Service agents. [/#c00000][#000000]
[/#000000][#000000]

[/#000000][#c00000]The Clintons charge the Federal government $10,000 monthly rent for the use of that extra residence, which is about equal to their mortgage payment. This means that we, the taxpayers, are paying the Clinton's salary, mortgage, transportation, safety and security, as well as the salaries for their 12 man staff -- and, [#008000]this is all[/#008000] [#008000]perfectly legal![/#008000] [/#c00000][#000000]

[/#000000][#c00000]As she runs for President, will YOU vote for her?[/#c00000][#000000]

I do not like Hillary at all, but in this situation, I don't think it's really anything she has done wrong. It's not up to her and Bill whether or not they get secret service protection. And why should they have to pay for the residency of the people protecting them. If that was a real issue, then I would be asking my company to pay for my house. [Tongue]

As far as I know, neither Bill nor Hillary had anything to do with the retirement plans, so I can't fault them for taking the money.

The reason I would never vote for her is because there is very litte that I agree with her on, and I think she will lead us down a road that will ruin small business growth amongst other things.

I wasn't trying to put down Hillery, she can do enough on her own. It's just such a pork barrel retirement that the politicians have voted in for them selfs. Perhaps they should live on 401 plans and s/s like the rest of us.

For sure! The fact that they (the government as a whole) have given themselves the comforts that they have is ridiculous.

here is the kicker, if chilly willie dies before lazy hill gets in to the presidents seat, she is only entitled to 25.000 per year widow's pay no mo perks... this is why RR's widow had to have the federal government pay for his furneral... no two million a year in travel expences, no two point five million secreate service pay....

but if she devorces willie she is not entitaled to the 25 thousand per year in widow's pay if he should wonder on to another landwinsky mine...[sly][laugh] sorry, still think its funny.... "maybe thats why I'm not married my self..[Tongue]"

ya, I sure know what you mean about the hundreds of billions of dollars spent on retirement beniffits for our political retiries every year yet it not enough for them, they want us to pay for thier kids political coreers before they are eligble yet when we want our jobs to pay for kids medical and education it is asking to much......
