Plunkers

Lately, every time I read the TGF reports for Oregon it mentions something about the luck that "plunkers" are having with steelhead fishing. My question is this: What in the world is a plunker? Or, what is plunking? I'm clueless!

Plunkers are bank tanglers who use rigs that utilize large sinkers and floating rigs. You should call my uncle and have him show ya.[]

He's leaving to come back up in the morning. He said when he gets home the springers will be starting. I wish i could come up there for them.[unsure]
