Limits of White Seabass
#1
I hooked up with Captain Tommy Lee from the Truline and Freedom out at the United Anglers/Fred Hall golf tournament yesterday. Tommie fished Catalina Sunday for Limits of White Seabass. Good grade of fish. Knowing the spot went off the day before, he sat on the anchor until 1130 with short halibut, until it turned on. Quality fish from 25-32 pounds. He said it didn't matter what bait you were fishin' they hit the live squid, frozen squid, strip on a jig, lead head, slider, dropper loop you call it "they were straight out chewin"!

There Here!!

Hi again Booyaa1,

Saturday was awesome and Sunday was even better for the croakers. At least six sportboats had boated WSB with two boats 18 and 19 passengers limiting out. Hey! ain't one WSB per person enough? ha ha

Oh by the by, what's with not hearing too much on the catching side from the PB'ers? Seemed like everybody had access to both finned and squid bait if they were willing to work for it.

Ah yes, the Truline and the Freedom. Turned the corners of Catalina a number of times on these boats. Persuit ain't too shabby either. ha ha

Hope we have a belated but good season this year.
